Rat On A Plane! Animal Delays Flight

As an Alaskan Airline flight, bound for Spokane, WA, was about to take off when the passengers spotted it. A rat, scurrying around the cabin. The plane immediately returned to the gates at SeaTac and passengers boarded another plane an hour later. An airport spokesman called the incident “a very rare occurrence.” Alaska Airlines called in a professional exterminator to make sure the plane was rodent-free and to ensure that it had not gnawed through the plane’s wiring.
