We went to a lovely little restaurant in Ballard this evening. It’s called the “Wild Mountain Cafe.”
The dining room is three small rooms and would hold, perhaps, fifty people tops. It’s a tiny, intimate little space that has the feeling of a traditional neighborhood restaurant of years past. Tonight, in spite of the tiny three room dining space, there was some really nice live music. The food was really good.
Our table was right by the kitchen. As the minutes passed, we began to the smell of our food wafting from the kitchen. The odors, mixed with food, just added to this wonderful ambience. The restaurant is owned by locals. Major plus.
The restaurant gets my top marks. Delicious food and a wonderful spot.
