Oops. An article in The New York Times, suggests that MTV might have pushed the envelope too far with “Skins,” a new show that debuted in January.
MTV executives are especially concerned about the upcoming Jan. 31 show, where a 17-year-old actor is shown running down the steet from behind— naked. The show deals with issues such as “simulated masturbation, implied sexual assault, and teenagers disrobing and getting into bed together.”
More than 3.3 million people watched the first episode of the series. It’s based on a BBC show of the same name.
